50 Flats in Leatherhead

This is a new build scheme in an existing car park, close to the Town Centre of Leatherhead. Following previous refusals on the site, the Ferio team submitted an appeal against the local decision. The initial refusal by Mole Valley District Council's Development Management Committee was based on concerns of overdevelopment, potential adverse impacts on the amenity of existing residents and loss of light. Ferio's successful appeal addressed these concerns, leading to the approval of the appeal in December 2024.

Barn Conversion to 7 houses

The principle of residential conversion had been established by Class Q prior approval applications for conversion to 5 units. Ferio then secured full planning permission for the conversion of the barns to 7 units, underpinned by the fallback position of the Class Q prior approvals. Phase 2 of the project will see adjacent barns converted to residential subject to planning which is ongoing.

Planning Appeal on Householder Scheme

This scheme was an ambitious and high-end redesign of a prominent, locally listed dwelling in the London Borough of Hackney. Previous refusals centred around the Conservation Officer's concerns on the impact on the character of the building. Ferio successfully negotiated a local approval following a minor redesign, but also ran a simultaneously appeal that was subsequently approved.
